As the only hotel in Denmark to receive this distinction in both the UK and US editions of Condé Nast Traveller, Nimb joins a select group of hotels worldwide recognised across the publication’s three most prestigious accolades: the Hot List, the Gold List and the Readers’ Choice Awards. The distinction reflects recognition from both Condé Nast’s editors and its global readership and stands as a testament to the continued support of our guests, partners and dedicated team.

The Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards are based on hundreds of thousands of reviews submitted by readers and hotel guests worldwide. Hotels are evaluated across a range of criteria, including rooms, service, food, design, location and facilities, with final rankings determined by the average score across all categories. Nimb received the award in 2022 and 2023.

The Condé Nast Gold List is an annual editor-curated selection of the world’s finest hotels, resorts and cruise lines. Chosen exclusively by the international editors of Condé Nast Traveler and Condé Nast Traveller, the list highlights properties they have personally visited, vetted and recommended. Nimb was included on the Gold List in 2020.

The Falstaff Hotel Awards celebrate excellence in hospitality across the Nordic region. In 2026, Nimb was named Hotel of the Year in Denmark in recognition of its exceptional guest experience, distinctive character and commitment to service. Falstaff particularly highlighted Nimb’s unique combination of historic atmosphere, contemporary luxury and highly personalised hospitality.

The Condé Nast Hot List is an annual selection of the world’s best new and newly renovated hotels, restaurants and cruise ships. Compiled by a global network of editors, writers and contributors, it is widely regarded as one of the travel industry’s most prestigious recognitions. Nimb was included on the Hot List in 2012.

The World Travel Awards recognise excellence across all sectors of the global travel, tourism and hospitality industry. Nimb has been named Denmark’s Leading Boutique Hotel eight times, reflecting its consistent commitment to exceptional guest experiences and service. The award was received in 2013, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2024 and 2025.

Presented at the Small Luxury Hotels of the World Awards, The Club by SLH Award is given to the hotel rated highest by members of The Club by SLH, the brand’s global loyalty programme. Based exclusively on guest feedback and booking data, it is the only SLH award determined entirely by guests. Nimb received the award in 2025.

Nimb is one of only 21 hotels world wide to be included in SLH’s Finest Collection, an ultra-exclusive tier of elevated, characterful boutique properties hand-picked by a panel of experts, top-tier guests, and mystery inspectors. The MICHELIN Key recognises hotels that deliver exceptional hospitality and memorable stays. In 2025, Nimb was awarded One MICHELIN Key, denoting a very special hotel distinguished by its character, service and overall guest experience.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) is a curated collection of more than 700 independently owned luxury hotels across over 90 countries. Membership is reserved for properties that offer distinctive character, personalised service and authentic local experiences. Nimb joined the collection in 2015.
