Eco-Certifications
Small Luxury Hotels Considerate Collection
Nimb Hotel is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels Considerate Collection. All member hotels have been handpicked by Small Luxury Hotels for achieving the highest categories of sustainability criteria, which are aligned with the UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) as well as the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) framework. Considerate Collection Hotels are sustainable innovators that are community-minded, cultural custodians and environmentally conscious.
Each property has either achieved a GSTC recognised certification or passed an assessment by the SLH Sustainability Advisory Panel with independent & impartial review by the GSTC.
Nimb Hotel joined the Small Luxury Hotels Considerate Collection in 2022.
Green Key
In 2024, Nimb Hotel has been awarded the Horesta "Green Key" after working diligently on a series of sustainability initiatives that prioritize the environment, nature, and green initiatives without compromising on being a luxury boutique hotel.
The internal anchoring is an important part of Nimb Hotel's sustainability focus, as well as the efforts to reduce CO2 consumption continue.
Green Attraction
Nimb is an integral part of Tivoli Gardens. In 2022, Tivoli Gardens was one of five Danish attraction to become the first to be certified as a Green Attraction by the Danish hospitality industry organisation HORESTA.
The certification scheme builds on the Green Key programme for sustainability and is awarded to attractions on the basis of 13 separate green criteria.
Tivoli Gardens is particularly dedicated to the UN Global Goals No 12 and 13 to promote Responsible Consumption and Climate Action. In 2021, Tivoli Gardens implemented a new intelligent energy management system to collect consumption data with which to monitor progress.
The same year, all lighting in the Gardens was replaced with low-energy LED light.
