24 March - Stress relief

This workshop is about how to handle stress on a busy day. Here you’ll experience a guided meditation with healing music therapy performed on a Tibetan gong by Aiste Venskune. Aiste is a Lithuanian psychologist, gong master, reiki healer and coach who specialises in gong therapy. Gong therapy, or gong bath as it is also called, is based on a belief that all organisms (including the body’s cells) vibrate at different frequencies that can be positively affected by the sound of the Tibetan gong. Stress, depression and disease may cause our cells to vibrate at a non-optimal frequency, which gong therapy alleviates.

The day’s programme concludes with a nutritious vegetarian lunch and healthy drinks. Aiste and Marek will be present during lunch so you enjoy the opportunity to ask questions.

31 March – Detoxification

This workshop is about detoxification and starts with a presentation of toxins and how you can reduce their harmful effects in your everyday life. During the morning, you will be guided through a series of cleansing breathing and yoga exercises and will conclude with a guided meditation. The teachers at this workshop are Nimb’s nutrition expert, Marek Witkowski and Marcello Real. Marek is trained in sports psychology, nutrition and health. He is also a professional chef.
Marcello is an experienced yoga and meditation teacher with 20 years of teaching experience. Originally from California, he has lived in Asia for many years, studying yoga and meditation. Marcello is also a practicing family and marriage counsellor, who includes elements from yoga and meditation in his approach. Two effective, natural tools that can be used to achieve better health, both mentally and physically.

The day’s programme concludes with a nutritious vegetarian lunch and healthy drinks. Marcello and Marek will be present during lunch, giving you the opportunity to ask questions.

7 April – Regeneration

The last workshop in the series is about leading a healthy, balanced everyday life with a focus on a nourishing diet and strengthening Pilates. The teachers at this workshop are Marek Witkowski, Nimb’s nutrition expert, and personal trainer at Nimb Wellness, Jodie Taylor. Marek is trained in sports psychology, nutrition and health. He is also a professional chef. Jodie has been teaching Pilates since 2013 and has a Pilates Matwork Level 3 education from England, focusing on Body Control Pilates. In addition, she is a personal trainer and calisthenics instructor. Finally, she is also set to complete her Master Degree in human nutrition in 2020. For the past 18 years, Jodie has suffered from diet-related health issues, so she knows about the influence the right diet may have on your wellbeing.

The day’s programme concludes with a nutritious vegetarian lunch and healthy drinks. Jodie and Marek will be present during lunch, giving you the opportunity to ask questions.
