Pig Roast at Fru Nimb
In July and August, we roll out the big grill and invite you for a BBQ party at Fru Nimb! We will serve a welcome drink, roast Danish welfare pork, the chef’s best salads, potatoes prepared in two different ways, grilled summer greens, and house-baked bread with butter and delicious dips and dressings. For dessert, we serve a real Danish summer classic – red porridge (berry & rhubarb compote) with cream.
GRILL BUFFET- Whole-roasted Danish welfare pork
- Beef sausages
- Pasta salad with basil pesto, parmesan and grilled greens
- Thyme and garlic-fried potatoes
- Crisp salads with pea shoots and edible flora of the season
- Melon salad with feta, grilled olives and pickled red onions
- Maize, peas and fresh small tomatoes
- Three kinds of toppings of nuts and dried fruit
- Bread and butter
- Dressing of oil, balsamic vinegar and honey
- Summer dressing with crème fraîche and herbs
- Barbecue dressing
- Fru Nimb’s red porridge with cream
